Abhijit Konar is a filmmaker, video producer and photographer who has been working in the industry for over 10 years. I specialize in creating meaningful and impactful visuals that capture the essence of the stories I tell. My work ranges from short films, music videos, and interviews to creative promotional materials, documentaries and photoshoots. With a passion for the arts and an eye for detail, I strive to create quality visuals that tell stories and capture emotions.
1990 - 2006
Born 3rd May 1990, Kolkata, India to an army mother Abhijit's childhood was always surrounded with guns and cars as toys, eventually, with stepping into teenage his mother wanted him to join the army,Made him cracked the written examination of NDA but instead of going for an NDA or IMA exams, he chose photography as a passion inherited from his maternal uncle and grandfather. Besides photography, Abhijit always had an interest in Investment and Stocks and it started back in 1997, by the year 2004 he started consulting his uncle's account providing a marginal profit and dividends till date (2021).
Abhijit was born and bought up in his maternal family where art is always a practice. He passed his ICSCE (10th Standard exams) in the year 2006. Post which he denied for the army out of a small arrogance in between mother & son.

2006 - 2011
In the year 2006 passing out his 10th his mother wanted him to directly join an army school where he denied and facing the deny he did to his mother he had to carry on his studies and everything on his own, He started giving tuitions changed his school to a reasonable than previous and continued his studies,
On a summer evening in 2006, while he was hanging out with his friends one of his friends who was already into photography asked him for help in the light set-up for a baby shower shoot...
The journey silently began there, he started going to such freelance works and getting paid, there he developed himself into a commercial photographer who covers events and weddings for some particular local studios. Only a few friends were aware of this activity, not even his family knew about this freelance income as he never wanted to showcase his work & never wanted to take photography as a full-time career.
Passing out his Higher Secondary schooling 2008- 2009 with commerce he decided to left studies and continue working in Banking, Marketing, and Call centers. But as we say "destiny" he started getting freelance calls for the shoot and continued it in between his work, while pursuing B.Com having Accountancy as specialization. Besides, he kept on studying photography as a self-development program

2011 - 2014
While working with the hectic schedule of shoots and his job he got tired and joined Kashyp Sports an organization dealing with sports garments and equipment as Business Development Manager. That particular business he worked hard and took to manufacturing from a retail store. Analyzing his dedication towards business Joy Dutta (owner) of Kashyp Sports had helped in continuing his studies and set up a business in 2013, a company to provide solutions in Web Technologies & IT recruitment named Schnytzier Technology Service Pvt Ltd. That didn't work out, Abhijit went in a bad shape as there was an investment of a person of concern. He started working in a recruitment consultancy where he found out while talking to a colleague that there is a course in media communication which they can apply belonging from any stream. He always had this thing for photography but never publicized it on any social media and never knew where to start with his own team & types of equipment, he wanted to achieve something in life of his own by not doing a 9-5 job, He quit the job started preparing for this exam and got into this post-graduation department of Jadavpur University pursuing Mass Communication & Journalism and there he again started doing freelance photography, where he also found people with similar perspectives and shared the same love towards watching and making films.
2015 - Now
In 2015,
Pursuing his post-graduation from Jadavpur University he founded photojoint formerly a social media agency to handle Public Relations of photographers, but certainly of Abhijit's contact and reach had landed him more work in photography, then he started developing himself into a cinematographer and currently a Video Producer. catering services to creative and digital requirements through his company
Abhijit couldn't finish his PG and consider as a drop-out as he had loads of work pre-scheduled, his love towards visual art also landed him a job in a feature film as an Executive Producer there he learned an end to end process of filmmaking and also started associating small independent projects apart from shooting commercials for clients and corporates.
Abhijit started investing in small ventures ,his freelance career , his directorial career in scripting and making films...
